Horses for sale

We have a number of horses for sale that were bought at auction. Those purchased in euros are payable in sterling at the exchange rate obtained by Manor House Stables. The cost quoted is the auction price plus either the 6% buyer's premium payable to the sales company, or the 5% conversion from guineas to sterling.

Purchasers should be aware that other expenses will also be due such as veterinary examination before purchase at the Sales, the trainer's sales expenses, our bloodstock agent's 5% commission, the wind test at the sales, transport to Manor House Stables and insurance to 28 August 2013. The insurance can be terminated by you on purchase and a pro rata refund of the premium will be repaid to you. In addition, keep costs will accrue at the rate of £40/day from the date of the sale until 31 December and then at £60/day thereafter, up to the date that you purchase the horse from Manor House Stables. These keep fees are all-inclusive and non-negiotiable. Having purchased a horse, you then must decide between our basic and all-inclusive ownership rates.
